Climate Resilience
UTA members RealSim and Latitudo 40 are participating in the EU-funded IB-Green project, which includes Sandyford Business District among its 11 partners. The project’s pilot focuses on mitigating heat stress in industrial and business parks by integrating green and blue infrastructure.
RealSim has developed the Sandyford Digital Twin, a tool designed to visualize the district’s current and future landscapes in detail. Meanwhile, Latitudo 40 has carried out geospatial analyses to identify urban heat islands and assess tree density.
Together, their contributions demonstrate how their technologies can support the sustainable transformation of 0.8 hectares of land into Sandyford Business District Civic Park.
