RealSim develop their first VR Airport Airside driver training experience for Red Sea Airport in Saudi Arabia.
An immersive Virtual Reality (VR) training program, including a VR walkthrough of the new Red Sea International Airport (RSI), to prepare airside drivers and other teams for operations, enhancing safety and efficiency through hands-on learning in a realistic digital environment before live operations begin. The VR program features a detailed, accurate 3D model of the airport, complete with realistic ground textures, night lighting, and integrated ground vehicles to simulate real-world conditions and train drivers on procedures like vehicle movement and task proficiency.
Training covers critical areas such as:
- Airport familiarisation & wayfinding
- Health & safety protocols
- Standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Passenger flow & route management
- Emergency response drills
- Customer service scenarios
- Trial runs for new systems
