
The UTA Café
On Monday 29th of October UTA held a UTA Café Webinar entitled “What is digital maturity and how can it help urban development?”.
The webinar brought together representatives from cities, industry and academia to hear from caspera-lab and the city of Santander.
UTA presented a short introduction and the link of the choice of topic for this Café to the MICAD project. UTA is a part of this project with a focus on enabling a twin transition in digital and climate .
What was it about?
Christian Maitre and Alexandre Fraignac, founder and co-funder of caspera-lab presented an introduction to the topic of digital maturity, its importance, and some of the pitfalls in addressing the topic. They presented their methodological approach to determining digital maturity for urban areas and the tools they have developed to create an assessment.
Sonia Sotera Muñiz from the City of Santander, Spain, presented an introduction into the engagement of Santander as a smart city and gave an overview of several current projects that are related to their digital transformation.
The session finished with questions from the audience.
