With the pandemic more and more under control, UTA is happy to resume its presence in large scale events where the future of Smart City is being showcased and imagined. In November, the Urban Technology Alliance will head to Barcelona for the Smart City Expo World Congress.

Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC), is one of the leading international event for cities and smart urban solutions. The event will host over 1.000 exhibitors at its 11th edition, held from November 15 to 17 2022. Over 24,000 professionals are expected from more than 700 cities and over 400 international speakers will share their vision on how to build a more sustainable and liveable urban future.

This year’s event will focus on eight main tracks touching the most pressing issues facing cities: Enabling Technologies, Energy & Environment, Mobility, Governance, Living & Inclusion, Economy, Infrastructures & Buildings and Safety & Security.

UTA will be present in the exhibition area with a stand gathering some of the association’s key members. On our booth, 8 members of the association will be represented. We will also contribute to the conference program with a thematic session. This will offer visibility to some of the results of the UTA challenge programme. It will also enable our members to exchange directly with other smart city experts from around the world.
